Meghadoot Network Architecture

This chapter explains the architecture of a Meghadoot network, i.e., the components of the system, their functions and how they interact with each other.

A Meghadoot network envisions two different communication zones:

  1. Control Zones
  2. Ad hoc Zones
The following subsections discuss these zones in detail. Figure 2.1 shows the overview of the Meghadoot network architecture.
